Responsibilities:

• Designing responsibilities
• Bug fixing and execution of enhancements
• Participating in agile development
• Understand the system well and suggest design modifications/enhancements
• Create software using C++ on Linux or Unix platform 
• Should be able to design independently and conduct code reviews
• Read and comprehend functionalities from existing software modules
• Integrate new software functionalities into existing modules on Linux and Unix platforms
• Conduct unit tests and integration tests to ensure best product quality.
• Apply learned technical knowledge to improve software development process 
• Fix issues and provide maintenance support on established software product
• Provide guidance and technical help to other members on the team

Qualifications:

• C/C++ on Linux and Windows
• Multi-threaded programming and IPC mechanisms
• Makefile & Shell Scripting
• Crash Dump debugging & analysis. Good handle on Windows & Linux Debugging including Remote Debugging, usage debuggers such as WinDbg, gdb
• Socket or Networking
• Data Structures
• OS Concepts
• Familiarity with Linux Internals (kernel building, kernel modules will be plus)
• File System (Good to have)
• Knowledge of drivers or experience of working on drivers will be plus
• Concept & Knowledge of STL Libraries & knowledge of COM
• Windows API [Win 32] programming
• Good communication skills
