Employment-Notice-No.RRC/ECR/GP 1800/1/2013: A Notification for Group-D Vacancies in RRC, Patna East Central Railway (ECR) has been taken out.
Selected candidates for the job will be put in the Pay Scale of Rs.5200 to
20200 + Rs.1800 GP. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Written

Note: Out
of Total Vacancies, 933 are reserved for Ex-Servicemen and 141
Vacancies are reserved for PWD (VH-47, HH-47 and OH-47). The number of
posts are variable according to administrative requirements.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.1800 GP
Qualifications: Class 10th Pass or ITI / Centre
of Excellence or Equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board / Institute. Note: Appearing candidates of final year examination of
Class 10th / ITI / COE or any equivalent are not eligible for this
Job.
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 and Maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2014. Relaxation in age is 5
years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD (UR), 13 years
for PWD (OBC) and 15 years for PWD (SC/ST).
Selection Process:
A Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Document Verification
and Medical Examination will be conducted for selection of eligible
candidates on above mentioned posts. Written Test will be objective type
of 90 Minutes based on GK, GA, Mathematics, Reasoning etc. It also
carries negative marking, 1/3 marks for each wrong answer will be
deducted. The Test consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions. Papers
will be set in English, Hindi, Maithili and Urdu.
Application Fees:
Rs.100 in the shape of Crossed Indian
Postal Order only in favour of Assistant Personal Officer (RRC), Railway
Recruitment Cell, E.C. Railway, Payable at Patna. No fees for SC / ST /
EBC / PWD / EXS / Women candidates / Minority Community and Candidates
belonging to Economically BC.
How to Apply: For application of Group-D Posts, you need to
have a prescribed application form, then fill it up with proper details and send
with all enclosures to “Assistant
Personal Officer (RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway, Polson
Complex, Digha Ghat Patna-800011, Bihar” on or before 14/10/2013. You may also drop your application form in the box kept
at the same address. Candidates from Far-flung area should send their duly furnished application on or before 29/10/2013.
Enclosures:
Application must be accompanied with IPO, Passport size photograph
pasted on application form, self attested copies of certificate as proof
of date of birth, certificate of technical / educational qualification
as well as community, physical, disability, income, self declaration
certificate (if any). Ex-servicemen should also send their certificate
from appropriate authority.
