Advt.No.02:2014: Indian
Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Satellite Centre has issued a notification
for recruitment to the post of Technical Assistant, Nurse, Lab Technician and other
posts in different Pay Band. Selection for the job will be made by conducting
Interview or Test + Interview. Aspiring candidates who meet eligibility criteria
can fill up online application through the website www.isro.gov.in by closing
date 26th September 2014. Other details in this context can be seen

Age Limits: 18 to 26 years for Hindi
Typist, 18 to 25 years for Fireman-A
and 18 to 35 years for rest of the posts. 5 years relaxation will be given to
SC / ST Candidates and 03 to OBC Candidates. Relaxation in age for PWD will be
given as per rule. Age will be calculated as on 26/09/2014.
Pay Scale: (PB-2) Rs.9300-34800 + Rs.4600 GP for Technical Asst and Nurse-B
and (PB-1) Rs.5200-20200 with Different Grade Pays for rest of the posts.
Selection Process: First of all, screening on the basis of
qualifications and other parameters will be made, thereafter; eligible
candidates will be called for Interview. For some posts, there is different
selection process. See the detailed notification to know about it.
Application Fee: Rs.100 for UR and OBC Candidates. There is no
application fee for woman / SC / ST / PWD / EXS candidates if they produce
proof. Applicants are required to pay application fee as Demand Draft in favour
of “Accounts Officer, ISRO, Satellite
Centre, Bangalore”, and Payable
at Bangalore.
How to Apply: Candidates should fill up online application through the website
www.isro.gov.in
between 06/09/2014 and 26/09/2014. Before
online application, candidates are required to make a DD of prescribed amount
from a nationalized Bank as the DD Number, Date and Name of the Bank will be
required at the time online application.
After submission of online application, Candidates are required to send
Demand Draft by Ordinary Post to “Sr.
Administrative Officer, (RMT), ISRO Satellite Centre, Old Airport, Road,
Vimanapura Post, Bangalore – 560017” on or before 06/10/2014. Applicants must write their Full Name, Post Number and
Registration Number on the back side of DD. Those who are eligible for waiver
of application fee should send relevant Certificate indicating Name, Post No.
and Registration Number on the back Side of it to the same address as mentioned
above by 06/10/2014.
