Job Description:
  • We are looking for talented software engineers to join us in building exciting and innovative products which will make a difference for millions of PayPal customers. 
  • Responsibilities include working closely with other engineering team members and interacting with Business, Architecture, QA and many other cross function groups to lead and deliver world class engineering products in an exciting fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with the Product Management group to identify business requirements and design product to specifications.
  • Create high-level and detailed technical design documents, Implement new product features using C++ and SQL in a Linux environment, write unit tests/automate and conduct design and code reviews. 
  • Play an active role in implementing and providing feedback on new processes. 
  • Enhance and maintain existing product capabilities. 
  • Develop and update product documentation. 
  • Participate and become actively involved in team and company wide architecture discussions. 
  • Employ technical expertise in helping team members overcome technical problems. 
  • Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones.

Job Requirements:
  • Excellent C, C++,JAVA, SQL, Unix Shell Scripting skills.
  • Strong database knowledge
  • Must be a team player and work collaboratively with others.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with the ability to appropriately prioritize
  • Familiarity with version controls (GIT) & JIRA tools is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills due to the dynamic nature of discussions with other engineering team members.
